Our Story

It all started with a conversation over coffee. What if we built something together?

Cape House Coffee began as a quiet idea between the two of us. We wanted to create something of our own. Something we could pour our energy into. Something we could be proud of. More than anything, we wanted to build a brand that people could connect with. Something real and personal that felt grounded in the everyday ritual of a good cup of coffee.

“It was the first time we had ever seen how coffee was grown, harvested, and processed.”

The spark probably goes back further than we realized at first. Years ago, we hiked the Salkantay and Inca trails in Peru on our way to Machu Picchu. Along the route, we stopped at a small coffee farm tucked into the mountains. It was the first time we had ever seen how coffee was grown, harvested, and processed. That moment stuck with us. It was more than just a good cup of coffee. It was a look behind the curtain into the people, process, and place that brought it to life.

When we came home, life moved on. We got back into our routines. Coffee turned into a quick part of the morning, something to keep us going. But the memory of that mountain farm never disappeared. When we finally sat down and asked, “What do we want to build together?” we found ourselves circling back to it.

We started Cape House Coffee not just to share great coffee, but to recreate that same sense of connection. The warmth, the story, the place. For us, that place is home; a small Cape-style house tucked into the heart of New England. It's where we’ve shared slow mornings, big conversations, and quiet moments over countless cups of coffee. That house inspired our name and still shapes everything we do.

Our brand is rooted in the comfort and charm of New England living. We love the rhythm of the seasons, the weathered beauty of old homes, and the kind of slow, intentional moments that make life feel full. That’s the spirit we hope to capture in every bag we offer.

We work with a roasting partner who shares our values and sources high-quality beans from coffee farms all over the globe. Each region brings something unique to the table, and we use those differences to craft blends that reflect moods, memories, and a sense of place.

“We want to make coffee that feels like home.”

At the end of the day, we want to make coffee that feels like home. Whether you're starting your day, catching up with friends, or taking a quiet minute for yourself, we hope Cape House Coffee helps you slow down and enjoy the moment.

Thanks for being part of our story.
